I am in Deep depression and anxiety
I taken fluoxetine 20 from around 3 week .my suicidal thoughts gon .but anxiety still remain .I am confusing this tablet not working me please say sir /medam

Fluoxetine is a good antidepressant but tends to increase anxiety in some patients

Dear you,
Medicines work on the physiological part .
Example- there was a fire (suicidal thought), You added water (Medicines). You stop water, again fire. You add water (medicine). Along with adding water You have to look for the reason that is causing fire. (Stressors).
To find the cause of fire You will require a detective partner (counsellor).
So along with meds take counselling. Then there will come a day when you can stop adding water . As you will be able to stop the stressor.
