I am 14 weeks pregnant n i went to nt sc
Nasal bone was not seen so they ask me to cm after 10 days n I went to scan after 10 days.n my reports says tht nasal bone is not visualised.review after 2 weeks.i am little bit worried about my baby except nasal bone everything is normal.plz help

 fetal nasal bone is a powerful tool in prenatal screening for Down syndrome(DS)  during the 11-14-week scan, USG will pick it up. incidence of nasal bone absence is very high (approximately 73%) in fetuses with DS nasal bone length 2.5 mm or less or if the BPD/NBL ratio is ≥ 10 take as short or less formed nasal bones.

This may be due to some medicine during pregnancy (like warfarin). My opinion that Please go to neonatolist available near by you. Or Pediatrician which do investigations ...
