Nothing to worry about, it's a very small prick. It will heal easily Apply povidone iodine ointment three times a day for few days.

Nothing to worry,  but if pins were old, rusty, dusty, take a shot of tetanus. Clean the area with antiseptic solution.

This is a minor puncture injury, and based on your description (very little bleeding, no swelling, only mild pain), it is not dangerous. The main concern in such injuries is risk of infection or tetanus, not the injury itself. Since symptoms are minimal, this looks uncomplicated and healing normally.
Next Steps
• Clean the area once daily with soap and water • Apply an antiseptic like Povidone-Iodine or any antibiotic ointment • Keep it clean and dry Tetanus check: • If you have taken a **Tetanus Vaccine booster within last 5 years → no action needed • If not sure or >5 years → take a booster (TT/Td) Watch for infection signs: • Increasing pain • Redness, swelling • Pus discharge
Health Tips
• Do not squeeze or irritate the wound repeatedly • Avoid exposure to dirt/contaminated water for a few days • Mild pain is normal and should settle in 2–3 days • You can take a simple painkiller if needed ⸻

This appears to be a minor superficial puncture injury, and based on your description (very minimal bleeding, no swelling, only mild pain), it is not dangerous at present. What you should do: • Wash the area gently with soap and water • Apply an antiseptic (like povidone iodine) • Keep it clean and dry • You may take paracetamol if there is pain Watch for warning signs: • Increasing pain • Swelling or redness • Pus discharge • Fever • Difficulty moving the finger If any of these develop, consult a doctor.
Next Steps
Important: • Check your tetanus vaccination status • If not taken in last 5 years (for injury) → take TT injection Conclusion: No need to worry right now. Just basic wound care and observation is enough.
