Hello doctor. In a hashimoto thyroditis patient, do TPO antibodies go back to normal range after treatment is started?

Your TPO antibody will be positive in future also, when it is positive,it means Autoimmune hashimoto thyroiditis..so it don't have further importance..
Your TSH level should come in normal range..that's it..so monitor tsh level regularly in every 6 weeks..
It's better to discuss always on call...

TPO antibodies testing helps us to arrive to the diagnosis and to assess the progression of disease.
If the titre is high it indicates we need to titrate the dosage of medicines more frequently.
You really don't have to worry about the level as it doesn't indicate a dreadful disease.
