Hypothyroid along with mild depression
Hello, i started taking antidepressant from 3/11/17. On 8/11/17 I was diagnosed with hypothyroid having tsh 11.23 so I was given thyrox 25. After 1 month on 8/12/17 my tsh was 2.73. And on 9/04/18 tsh was 12.67 and on 13/04/18 tsh was 14.55 so doctor increased my dose to thyrox 50 and thyrowel. I want to ask why my tsh is increasing despite taking thyrox tablet? Was it because of antidepressant or any other problem

Autoimmune hypothyroidism is progressive. The dose changes are needed based on TSH. You may get your Anti TPO antibodies checked to confirm whether it's autoimmune or not
