It all depends how fast the hyponatremia has developed, which will determine whether hyponatremia should be treated or not. Similarly if the patient has symptoms then the chances are that hyponatremia has developed very fast. The treatment in these cases is different from those patients where hyponatremia developed slowly. In short if you find that in your routine health check up Na level is low , please consult your doctor. Let him decide whether it needs treatment and how fast it has to be corrected.

It depends on actual value medical conditions age  also ongoing medicine ..but generally if no symptoms only dietary changes are advised
