Is a consistent BP reading of 130/95 to 130/105 normal for a 49 year old male who is already on treatment for hypertension with Telmisartan 40 twice and Cilnidipine 10 once.
Is this a normal variation or any change in medication to be sought or can be ignored.

Its high..
Make cilnidipine twice daily..
Measure bp after 3 days
If still not controlled add tab.ctd.6.25 in morning..
Target diastolic bp should be less than 80 and if u have nephropathy then target diastolic bp should be less than 75..

Try tablet Telvas AM once daily morning. Reduce weight by 5-6 kgs. Have regular physical exercises daily for 1 hour in the morning.

Your diastolic BP i.e 95 to 105 is on the higher side. Along with medications, diet has very important role to play.
Next Steps
1.reduce salt intake to less than 2000mg per day.
2.follow a DASH diet ( dietery approaches to stop hypertension) , search google for the options in DASH diet.
3. 30 minutes of regular walking daily.
