Husband is spitting up blood
Hello, I have a question. So my husband and i are sitting on the couch with our 2 year old daughter and he looks at me and points at my red shirt and i ask him whats wrong? are you okay? and he points at my shirt and then opens his mouth and there blood coming out. this has happened a couple months ago and it does not happen all the time. my question for you is why is this happening and is there anything i can do to prevent it

I think you should visit a dentist as soon as possible since this problem has been ignored by you before this so no point postponing it until it gets worse. Hopefully it's nothing serious, might be just swollen and bleeding gums. Commonly known as Gingivitis. So a dental visit is a must. Regards

You need to visit periodontist soon. It can also happen due to vitamin deficiency but a visit to periodontist will first eliminate local factors in the mouth. If possible consult a physician and get the routine blood investigations too
