Huge Blood test price diff OPD & IPD
Huge difference in price of blood tests between OPD and IPD
My friend recently got admitted into a reputed hospital with a breathing issue and cough. The hospital conducted a plethora of blood tests like LFT, CBC, Tropilin I and few more. What was shocking was the IPD blood test rates were more than 3 times higher than the IPD rates.
For example: LFT for OPD was close to 700 INR whereas LFT for IPD costed 3000 INR.
Is it fair and are these prices negotiable?
