How to start solids
My baby 06 month 10 days old is able to sit only with support. Should I start with solids? If yes then what variety of cerelac should be taken or daal/rice water will be sufficient enough. Also is it necessary to give bottled water.

Sitting with support at this age is ok. You can start with solids which are mashed smooth. Avoid starting with cerelac. Add cerelac if baby takes 2 home based feeds only.
Next Steps
don't start with daal or rice water, instead give smooth and blended daal or rice of halwa consistency

Yes you can start weaning foods. Don’t start with solids directly. Start with liquids first. You can start with dal water, puréed dal, then proceed to semi solids like khichri, dalia, suji and besan halwa etc. And no bottled water is not necessary. But you do need to give filter water.
Next Steps
Don’t start all things at once. Introduce a single food at a time, and then continue this for about a week so that the baby develops it’s taste.
Health Tips
Don’t forget to burp the baby and make sure food has no choking components in it.
