How to relieve headache due to tension
Every time after any argument with anybody I have a headache. Or even if I am stressed or in tension about anything. These are headaches are different from the ones I get during cold. I am 45 year old female working in a mall as a sales executive. Please tell me how can I relieve my headache due to tension?

Hello practo user I can understand the difficult situation that you are currently facing in your life.  Headaches are caused due to some stress in your life personal or professional . Stress can aggravate these and can cause distress. It is advisable that you practice guided meditation  and deep breathing everyday , try and count till ten before replying to others, spend time with close family members and friends, maintain a healthy lifestyle as eating and sleeping patterns can also contribute to headaches . In today's pressure cooker world we can't avoid stress or tension in both day to day professional and personal life . So let's accept the fact that everyone goes through it and especially in your type of work environment, it will be more. So the solution is more to do with; how we handle the stress than just trying to avoid it. There are many and general techniques like breathing, yoga, reverse count, etc can be advised, but what's important is whether can you follow them  practically or are they suitable for you body conditions ?. Moreover sometimes body condition like excess heat in body, acidity, foods habbit, menstrual issues, menopause, digestion issue etc also can play an important role in increasing stress levels. So it's important to assess both physical and physical symptoms before following a suitable stress management plan. Be positive. Hello, Headache can be caused due to number of reasons. Get your eyesight checked. Headache associated with vision problem is usually associated with working on screens or working under dim light. Headache associated with underlying stress is usually of mild to moderate intensity and not increased by any physical activity. If there is associated running nose, lacrimation, nausea, vomiting, intolerance to voice and light it can be cluster or migraine type. There are good medications available to take care of all types of headache.
