OCD is a chronic illness, it's important that before terminating therapy you discuss relapse prevention with your therapist. The memory of the episodes usually brings shame and causes anxiety about relapse. The best way to overcome this is by learning about your OCD and accepting the change it brought in your life.

Hi, OCD is complicated disorder and it is natural to feel distressed while going through these symptoms. It is difficult to navigate through every day functioning while trying to manage the symptoms and at such points getting frustrated is understandable. However, if you feel that your shame is getting unbearable it can help you to talk to a professional to deal with these emotions and make sense of your experiences so far. Meanwhile you can remind yourself from time to time that you are not repeating the compulsions but the disorder is is making you do that. It is not your fault.
