How to recover from patella alta and PFS
I have been diagnosed with PFPS with patella alta in the last October. Going to PT for the same. No improvement yet. Still have burning pain and swelling above the knee. The burning pain is above the knee. it burns whenever I sit down in the chair/sofa and lying down. No pain while walking. It's been there for past 5 months. How long does it take to recover from the patella alta with PFPS. Is it normal to have burning pain so long? Do I need further investigation? I have been to 2 doctors. Ortho and sports medicine. I am in another country now. I am not sure if I should travel to India to get it treated. What to do to heal from this patella issue? I am also checking my inflammation blood tests this week. Just to check if any inflammation causing these issues. I also have pain in the hand joints recently. That happened without any injury. Pain in elbow, wrist, shoulder (forearm area). Not sure if it's nerve compression or bursitis. Doctor said might be both. need help for knee pain.
