My dad detected with adenocarcinoma. Growth in ge junction extending upto lesser curvature of the stomach. According to Biopsy result.

Hi
Patient has to come with empty stomach over night or at least 6hrs of nil by mouth
Patient blood sugar and serum creatinine levels to be in normal range
Better to avoid high sugar diets

If your father is diabetic make sure the fasting sugar is under adequate control
Apart from that 4 hours of fasting is advised in general
