I got rabies vaccine as a kid 10-15 years ago when I was bitten by a monkey. I play with stray dogs a lot so I wanted to know how long do antibodies from the vaccine stay in the human body and also would it be okay for someone like me to get some kind of pre exposure vaccine if I want to continue playing with dogs?

YESNO
Hello.
yes you can get Rabies pre exposure vaccine (PrEP).
3 doses of Rabies vaccine . at 0 , 3 and 7 days was the previous recommendation by WHO.
Since Apr 2018 WHO recommends two doses at 0 and 7 days. Given Intra muscularly , in the deltoid region ( upper arm) , not in hips.
please take the same vaccine of the same manufacterer.
people who are in high risk profession like vets, dead animal handlers, forest guards, etc or people travelling from no endemic countries to rabies endemic countries, are recommended to take PrEP.
Post exposure Prophylaxis ( PEP )- those vaccinated in the past by PrEP , need only 2 doses for grade 2 and 3 exposure.
