How long can we have the bone spicules
I have lower jaw pain for 3 years. Had MRI and CT of jaw and neck. Nothing found. Tooth 46 was hurting for tapping and biting on it,pressing, touching with tongue. Had RCT several times and no relief. Cone beam scans were normal.Extracted that tooth in July 2022 because of the constant pain in the jaw and the tooth. Tooth was found infected when they pull out. But jaw pain persist and same symptoms till now. 46 tooth socket hurts and gum too. Went back for follow up several times and Dr said it's looking good. But I have pain in that socket and gum. I see 2 tiny bump white hard spots on that gum a month after the extraction. It's so small but sharp. It hurts when I touch or press it. Asked the Dr and he told me to leave like that. It's been 5+ months after the extraction and no relief yet. I still have that white hard bump spots on the gums. Can I leave it? How long can I leave it like that? I am currently living outside India. Planning to come to India to treat it after few months.

I would like to know whether the pain was pricking, pressing or electric shock type of pain before the root canal treatment, after the root canal treatment and currently after your extraction. It would also be helpful, if you could upload your previous full mouth X rays before extraction and before root canal treatment. When you touch, you will have pain because of the bony spicules, that needs to be filed.
Next Steps
After filing of bony spicules, if you still have pain, then you should be properly examined with full detail history to conclude the diagnosis.
