How do I gain weight properly?
During the year I have lost about 2-3 kgs and have no idea how to gain it back. I have mostly lost weight due to lockdown where I could only have home food but now even with things back to normal my weight isn't changing. I eat 3-4 full meals a day and l am generally feeling healthy but my bmi is really low which is making me concerned.

Hi As long as you are eating a well balanced diet with healthy food combination and good lifestyle...choices you need worry at all about BMI range..as that will be corrected automatically if you keep following the good with consistency... As too much stress akso comes in the way of not gaining weight...as generally stress causes weight loss or weight cycling ( ups and downs in one's weight ) ...which is not a good indication..as weight cycling or sudden weight loss can decrease/ lower the stamina and ones immunity.. So don't worry about the BMI range it's just an indicator to know about the long term risks associated with it..when anything goes beyond or under the cut off levels of it.. As mentioned by you above feel good factor is everything..when you are feeling healthy physically..then you have to keep your stress level at bay by not letting it come in the way of weight reduction.. Home cooked food, well balanced meals, plenty of drinking water around 2 to 3 litres, exposure to sun, low intensity exercises both morning and evening, sweet potato kheer , kheer for gaining weight back, roots and tuber vegetables, moderate carbs, plant protein, fats, EFA'S, fermented and germinated foods, nuts, dry fruits, fresh dates, almond and banana milk shakes, milk and milk products, healthy cooking oils, seeds, all variety dal's, legumes, millets , whole grain cereals etc..to be consumed adequately and liberally.. good relaxing sleep and rest, fruit juices, nirmal fiber intake etc..are all essential..

U eat good nutritious food. Eat plenty of vegetables,fruits and greengram sprouts .These will keep u  nourished ,fit and healthy. Almonds,walnuts,figs,pistachio,drydates,raisins,cashew,milk milkproducts,will improve ur weight. Walk,exercise,playsports,yoga will keep u in  healthy weght. Shatavari granules two tsf on milk twice a day. Kushmanda/ shatavari rasayana two tsf twice a day .
