Hindi What is commonly called “air lock” in the lower back is usually muscle spasm or stiffness, not trapped air. Cold weather, sudden movements, poor posture, or dehydration can trigger this, causing sharp pain with movement and difficulty sitting or sleeping. Keeping the back warm and using hot water fomentation helps relax the muscles. Avoid sudden bending, twisting, and staying in one position for long periods. Regular gentle stretching, movement, and good hydration help prevent recurrence.
