I have been diagnosed type 2 because my c peptide result came positive 0.6 for insulin secretion. However, my GAD antibody is positive and over 2000. My doctor says it's case of MODY and that it is type 2. My question is, is it possible this is type 1 and I m going thru a honey moon phase

It depends a lot on clinical findings along with blood reports. It could even be LADA rather than Type 1 diabetes. My first diagnosis would not be type 2 diabetes, based on the information provided. Opinions may differ.
