Type 1 or type 2
My brother is 23 years old and suffering from diabetes. We have diagnosed just before a month. His c peptide result in fasting is 1.58 Ng/DL and 4.1 Ng/DL post prandial. Is he type 1 or type 2.

From C peptide reports we can only say that he still has insulin reserve. Diagnosis of type 1 or type can be made after taking detailed history.
