Hip pain with external rotation
Since last two days started having right anterior hip pain on certain movements like external rotation ( butterfly pose) .Pain is sharp which limits my mobility on these movements. Also while doing hip rotation at right side I am having same sharp pain. Not sure what could be the reason of this sudden pain.

Pain on external rotation/abduction can be due to adductor tendon inflammation, but needs confirmation through detailed history and examination.
