Hi ! ESR value alone is not per say alarming. it just denotes an underlying inflammatory process. We need to rule out other causes of the same. ASO titre 1 year back has no significance in present. i would advise you to see an orthopaedic surgeon to rule out other causes of hip pain. This needs evaluation. Stop smoking if you do. Thanks
