Hip fracture
My Father age 68 was fallen from stairs in June , his a plate was inserted in his hip bone, from last two month he is normal doing all work and walk 5 km daily , yesterday he climb some stairs from the instant he is feeling pain , after doing x ray doctor concluded that a screw has been open and said bone had completely fix 95% and advice to take rest for 15 days , pls advice what should we do

Please share X-rays. Usually after 3 months, fracture will unite. But pain after pain free period indicate some other problem.
