Tibia plate removal
Tibia fracture surgery was done 1 year 4 month before by placing plates. Now as per the Dr advice planning to remove the plates.
If I go for plate removal surgery of tibia. After how many days I will be able to walk normally

you can walk from the post operative day 1. the screw holes fill up in few weeks so you need to be careful with no aggressive activities/running.

You will be able to walk the very next day..but need to be careful for a month as screw holes can arise as stress risers and cause a fracture
