If she has a fracture of neck of femur, the treatment of choice is hip replacement. Surgery can be done after sugar control with insulin. Various local made and imported implants are available. Imported ones from depuy, Smith and nephew, zeimmer, etc are better than local made ones but obviously more expensive. Your treating surgeon can give u the cost comparison. Post surgery she will also need treatment for her osteoporosis(weak bones).
