High tsh of 7.74
I have recently a general blood test and in that, my TSH level is 7.74.
in 2021, I have had a history of pregnancy termination due to intermediate risk found in double marker test.. post that, my body weight has also gradually increased and in last 1.5 years , it has increased from 63 kg to 71 kg. i am working from home and lead a normal lifestyle with moderate walking daily . I also have a lot of post abortion stress. please suggest the treatment for me.

If your thyroid function tests show normal T3 and T4 and raised TSH level it is known as subclinical hypothyroidism.Treatment is initiated if only you have symptoms related to hypothyroidism , or TSH level is above 10 or if you are planning for pregnancy.Gaining weight could be due the hypothyroidism .In such instances you should consult with your doctor to determine if thyroxine replacement treatment is necessary.
