High TSH levels
My TSH levels over the last six months have been high between 10 and 12.My T3/4 are within normal limits. My GP has advised that I should undergo a thyroid antibodies test(TPO/TG) to further confirm if i need to be put on any medication. Will this have any side effects on my heart considering I have undergone two procedures to treat my AF and currently am on medication as  advised by my cardiologist. Do I need to consult an endocrinologist for a final opinion since I believe that medication is lifelong. I must also mention that I have no major symptoms except that I feel drowsy at times while watching TV.
