Regarding high tsh level
I am 12 weeks pregnant and my tsh level is 5.8...which is not good. I am taking thyroxin empty stomach 75mcg earlier it was 50mcg after going through report doctor suggested me to take 75 mcg... My concern is that I want to take Thyropace medicine as a supplement. Is it safe to have it during pregnancy. I have had this medicine earlier nd it was good to me Pls suggest

How much thyroxine are you taking . Is it 75 or 50. Secondly were you taking this medicine prior to pregnancy or started now. In fact 5.8 is not a level to start with but it will be advised to follow your physician advise instead of online medical advice

It’s a nutritional supplement, considered safe to use in pregnancy but it’s always better to consult your treating gynaecologist before using it.. need of it for you or adjusting the other supplements better to decide by your gynaecologist.
