High sugar levels
My mother age 52,diabetic from past 5 years. She is taking morning (glimisave m1/Gemer 0.5)-1-0-0,(glycomet 500 SR 0-0-1 )at night. Her fasting sugar is 200 to 220,after breakfast 260 to 300. Recently she went for heart stent below results are before heart stenting. Now she is taking medicines for cholesterol (rosuvas 40)and blood thinners. Lipid profile Cholesterol-287 Creatinine -0.8 Hdl -38 Total cholesterol -7.6 Triglycerides 265 Ldl-196 Vldl 53 Please suggest or modify medicenes for to control her sugar levels.

Read your history. Need to know about her hba1c report. Which shows average sugar of last 3 months. Than we go for any change in treatment (only if needed). Do consult after report. We will change diet also so we can make better cholesterol level also.

Where are you located. Please get her HBA1C done and measure her fasting sugar and 2 hrs after each meals for 3 days . Prepare the chart . Consultation needed with dietician for proper diabetic diet . She need to do some walking too. You can consult directly after sugar level chart or visit nearest diabetologist
