Is the frequent blinking associated with redness, watering and discharge? When was the last time you checked your power? You said you are no regular check up. Frequently blinking is occurring in both eyes or only one ?
Next Steps
One needs to find out if there is any foreign body, for which you need eye check up in person.
Health Tips
discontinue your contact lenses for the time being till the reason for blinking is known.
