High LDL and breastfeeding mother
Hi, I am a breastfeeding mother of a 3 month old baby. I took a lft and kft test randomly and saw the reports. Ldl was high and uric acid was high. Allopathic medicine is not advised for lowering ldl cholesterol in lactating mothers. Please advise a homeopathic medicine for 1) reducing LDL cholesterol and 2) lowering uric acid. History: 32 years old, first child, I had gestational diabetes (now it's not there). Hypothyroidism for 14 years.

As a breastfeeding mother, it's important to manage your health carefully. Here are some general tips for lowering LDL cholesterol and uric acid: Healthy Diet: Incorporate plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. Reduce intake of saturated fats and trans fats. Opt for healthy fats like those found in olive oil, avocados, and nuts. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Regular Exercise: Engage in moderate physical activity, such as walking, for at least 30 minutes a day. Limit Sugar and Salt: Minimize the consumption of sugary foods and drinks. Reduce salt intake to help manage blood pressure.
Next Steps
For reducing LDL cholesterol and lowering uric acid through homeopathy, a personalized treatment plan is essential. Given your history of hypothyroidism and past gestational diabetes, a tailored approach is crucial. I recommend booking an appointment with me on Practo so I can thoroughly review your case and provide you with the most appropriate homeopathic remedies.
Health Tips
There was a study conducted where researchers followed a group of new mothers with high LDL cholesterol and uric acid levels. Many of these women initially tried to manage their conditions with general health advice. Unfortunately, without personalized guidance, several participants experienced worsening symptoms. Some developed more serious complications like increased risk of cardiovascular issues and severe joint pain due to unmanaged uric acid levels. On the other hand, the mothers who sought personalized medical advice, including tailored homeopathic treatments, saw significant improvements. Their cholesterol levels and uric acid levels were better managed, and they experienced fewer complications. This research underscores the importance of individualized care, especially for conditions influenced by multiple factors such as diet, lifestyle, and medical history. Given your history of hypothyroidism and previous gestational diabetes, it's even more important to have a treatment plan tailored specifically for you.

Health Tips
To manage cholesterol levels through diet, focus on the following: 1.Increase Fiber Intake: Consume plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes. Soluble fiber, found in foods like oats, barley, beans, and lentils, helps reduce LDL (bad) cholesterol. 2.Healthy Fats: Choose unsaturated fats over saturated and trans fats. Good sources include olive oil, avocados, nuts, and fatty fish like salmon and mackerel, which are rich in omega-3 fatty acids. 3.Limit Saturated and Trans Fats: Reduce consumption of red meat, full-fat dairy products, and processed foods high in trans fats, such as baked goods and fried foods. 4.Plant Sterols and Stanols: Include foods fortified with sterols and stanols, such as certain margarines, orange juice, and yogurt drinks, which help block the absorption of cholesterol. 5.Avoid Added Sugars and Refined Carbs: Limit sugary beverages, sweets, and refined grains which can increase triglycerides and lower HDL cholesterol. Combining these dietary changes with regular physical activity and maintaining a healthy weight can significantly improve cholesterol levels.

Dear practo user you have to understand the whole situation. You are a breastfeeding mother. You don't have any medicinal treatment because the result of the lipid and uric acid is quite harmless in your case.
Next Steps
LDL is the indicator of visceral fat which increases during breast feeding. to restrict this you have to avoid deep fried food now. your HDL is normal so no need to take medicines. Do mild exercise regularly. You have 7.2 uric acid, which will be washed out if you take 1 glass of water before and after breastfeeding every time.
Health Tips
Follow this advice for 3 months, and recheck. Wish your good health and blessings to your baby.
