High hs-CRP and Low Vit D and B12
Hi Doctor, I recently did a full-body health check and most parameters are normal. I follow a clean vegetarian diet, rich in protein (90–100g/day from milk, curd, whey, etc.), maintain a calorie deficit for fat loss, and work out 4 days a week. I need your guidance on a few findings: Vitamin B12 – 109 pg/mL (Low) – what should I do? Any need for further tests like methylmalonic acid or homocysteine? Vitamin D – 25 ng/mL (Low) – how can I bring this up? hs-CRP – 3.3 mg/L (High) – does this need attention or follow-up? Transferrin Saturation – 19% (Low-Normal) – should I test serum ferritin to check iron levels? PDW – 15.8 fL (High), PLCR – 43.1% (High) – are these concerning or linked to inflammation?

Seems slight nutritional deficiency. Include fresh green vegetables,  sprouts, curds, cheese  soybeans in your diet. You can take vit D 20microgram tablets daily for a month  tab neurobion one morning and one evening for 30 days. High crp indicates inflammation somewhere in body. For that, you have to say if you have had pain or swelling or any discomfort in body in recent past .

Thank you for reaching out with your query. In order to provide you with an accurate and complete medical opinion, I would need a more detailed history, relevant clinical findings, and possibly a review of your reports or investigations. Unfortunately, it is not medically advisable to provide a diagnosis or treatment solely based on limited information in a message. I recommend booking an online consultation with me through Practo. This will allow us to have a thorough discussion regarding your symptoms and help me guide you better. Looking forward to helping you in a more detailed manner. Warm regards, Dr. Sudarshan Lamture MD (Medicine) Sfurti Multispeciality Hospital

Nothing to worry as such related to blood test.. better to have Vitamin D and Vitamin B12 supplement. As mentioned you are vegetarian.. where as most of the natural sources for Vitamin B12 are animal based. Also increase sunlight exposure, particularly in morning hours to increase Vitamin D
Next Steps
Further would be better to consult physician for Vitamin supplements
