High grade serous ovarian cancer
Hi, my mother is in third stage ovarian cancer 3c. She has undergone 3 cycles of chemotherapy but it seems chemotherapy is not working that well. She has weight only 27kgs. One doctor recommended to go for debulking surgery but iam worried. What will be the survivability chances if she undergone surgery at 27kg body weight.

27 kg is too low to continue chemotherapy. The only chances of cure would be optimal cytoreductive surgery as she has not responded well to chemotherapy. However with a weight of 27 kg she may be high risk for such a morbid surgery. The decision regarding surgery will be taken by the surgeon and anaesthesia team.

27 kg is too low. Can you share both the CT scans ( before and after chemotherapy)?
