High fever
My son is 4 years old . He has fever 101.9 we have given P-250 3ml . Can we also give Meftal-P to reduce the fever immediately if yes how to use it or provide the alternate solution.

Most fevers in children are viral in origin and take 3-7 days to subside completely.
If not accompanied by any other symptoms like vomiting or loose motions or coughing and breathlessness or dullness and refusal to feed,just give paracetamol for fever and repeat every 4 hours if required.
Avoid meftal,use only if fever is beyond 103.
