High fever
My grandfather who is 89 years old was having 99 fever till yesterday. We gave him half dolo650. He couldn't sleep the entire night. Now when we checked he is having high fever 100. None of our family members is having any issues and neither are we going outside. This all started after he took a bath day before yesterday. Can it be because of exertion or what else can be the reason and what could be done??

Once get him tested for covid. Even though none of your family members tested positive he might still get because of age factor. There are other reasons for fever too. Consult via practo for detailed evaluation.

His fever can be viral or bacterial.. you can give 6th hourly once dolo650 mg today. If it is still persisting tomorrow he will require certain blood test to find out what is the cause for fever. You can consult online for further advice and treatment.
