High fever
My daughter has fever 101.6.she is 10 year old.please suggest some good anti fever syrup and dose as meftal p can't work now. I gave 5 ml but still have fever.

Tepid sponging and paracetamol syrup according to body weight two times a day will help.
Next Steps
still fever persist even after medication and tepid sponging child requires a doctor evaluation and opinion.

Do not let fever spike to 104 as it may lead to febrile convulsions. hence immediate doctor treatment is advised.
