High fever, chills,

Asked for Male, 26 Years

I started shivering suddenly at night and got fever. It was 103.4 at 5AM. Body ache, headache. I took Paracetamol in the morning 650 temp went down to 100 after few hours. Now it has again increased to 102.3.

Hi there understand your concern... There are many conditions which present with fever... Fever may be due to urinary tract infection, respiratory tract infection, gastroenteritis, malaria, typhoid, dengue, tuberculosis, viral infection etc...so detalied examination and evaluation is necessary... Take over the counter paracetamol 650 mg thrice daily and do tepid sponging...Consult nearest physician they will do the needful.
