Hello It does brings down the temperature of body, not only on head you need to do sponging on entire body. This will help in quick decrease in temperature.

Not only head u can do that in your underarms , chest and back . It brings down ur core body temperature. So it's very helpful. Instead of cold water u can use normal water in winters
