High cholestrol
I recently did a lipid profile and my total cholesterol came out to be 268 and LDL is 179 and HDL is 45, first of all how do I lower these levels and what should i change in my lifestyle and diet and will it affect my health, heart in particular in any ways.

Try to be vegetarian, stop smoking, stop alcohol, stop pizza/burger/samosa etc, do exercise for 45 minutes daily(mostly aerobic like running, jogging, walking etc), be on time for your food 8 am breakfast/Lunch 1 pm/dinner at 8 pm.
