High cholesterol
Hi, I'm 27 years old and I've diagnosed with high cholesterol during casual checkup. Total cholesterol:296 mg/dl , triglycerides:310 and LDL: 208. I do have inactive lifestyle and consume diet full of fat and also have genetic cholesterol issues . My questions are: Am I at the risk of heart attack at the age of 27? Should I start atorvastatin asap or should I do physical exercise for some time and see the results? Does physical exercise alone helpful to lower the cholesterol (especially LDL)? Any suggestions from cardiologist? Thanks
