High BP in electronic machine
Recently measuring BP using electronic BP machine in home ... when taking first time in sitting position it's always high around 135 to 140/90to 95. How ever after few mins of reading it's in 125 to 130/85 to 90.
Do I need medication for this bp reading ?

A regular BP measurement atleast 3-4 days of week
Your readings are only borderline and some readings are higher.
All in all the bp may be controlled with life style modified and reduce weight

BP readings are always to be taken after 10-15 mins of quiet sitting or lying down. So the later reading is valid in your case. You don’t need any medicine for it right now. But you should start low salt diet with daily aerobic exercises.

Try lifestyle changes like low salt diet, daily morning exercise or brisk walking for 1-2 months. If the BP readings at home remain elevated then you may need to take medicines.
