Start with lifestyle modification, low salt intake (including pickles, sauces etc), and daily brisk walking atleast 30 min a day. Search for DASH diet and try to apply in your life. Regularize routine and abstain from smoking. Medication can be started after 15 days of life style management

Keep a record of your BP in a book and mark the days, time and the BP at that time. You could do the following lifestyle changes which could help you with reducing your blood pressure:
- Consume a low sodium diet, avoid salt, avoid fried, deep fried and other food which contain salt.(Follow DASH diet)
- Exercise regularly, do cardio exercises
- Maintain a healthy weight for your height as per your BMI
- Avoid or stop smoking as this would cause increase in your BP
- Avoid alcohol use
- Destress yourself with methods such as yoga, meditation, sleeping.
You will require medications to control your BP at present but these lifestyle changes will help maintaining a healthy BP.
Visit a cardiologist and get the medications for your BP
