My mother has continuous vomiting for 3 days,has burning sensation while swallowing, now admitted in a local private hospital. Endoscopy done, diagnosed to small hiatus hernia,moderate oesophagitis, moderate duodenitis, HB:6.6gm%had one unit of whole blood transfusion, before and after the transfusion she had black colour watery stools. Here I attach her endoscopy report. What was her condition, why black colour stools?

Your mother is having Malena which means she has some bleeding through some ulcer which is long standing and has cause anaemia ( low HB) . You should go ahead and admit her with gastroenterologist and take proper treatment
