Herpes virus
Hi Docs, My mom has been diagnosed with Herpes. One doc prescribed her medications which includes cefpodoxime tab 200mg and Famciclovir tab 250mg. My concern is can these medications be taken together?? Cefpodoxime is antibacterial antibiotics and Famciclovir is antiviral antibiotics.. Is it safe to take them together?? She is also a high BP patient and regularly takes bp & cholesterol medicines. Please advise !! 🙏
