Lumbar disc would not cause pain in hands, anyways; indications for disc removal are continuous or recurrent radiating pain to thigh or leg or foot with numbness or weakness in foot/ ankle or leg. Few patients may have urinary symptoms too. Claudication pain s another indication. Please visit a spine surgeon for clinical examination and further investigation
