I have a history of hemorrhoids. Initially it was internal and everytime i defecated it use to bleed with mild pain. Recently i have noticed a small piece of mass of skin outside my anus. Its usually does not hurt. But from last 2 days i am experiencing tremendous pain and swelling around my anus. I have applied lignocaine gel but see no results. Pain still persist with the swelling. Even had fever last night with body ache.

What you are experiencing is not because of piles. This is fissure, the mass you feel is called sentinel pile. It is because of tearing of lining of gut and that's why the pain is tremendous.
There is excellent medication in homeopathy to cure this condition and also save you from surgery. Try homeopathy and get relieved.
