Heel pain in left leg
I am having a heel pain for past few weeks. I had some pain medication prescribed by doctor, but it was not working. So now I started physiotherapy for the past 9 days using ultra sonic heating. It showed some progress but after a standing travel on train the heel pain is still there. PS : I am able to walk but it pains a bit. So what should I do continue the physiotherapy or consult an ortho?

Hello dear, you can continue physiotherapy if you getting relieved by ultrasound therapy.. but along with that you need to follow few things. i.e wear soft sole footwear. Like those of doctors sole footwear. That will help you while walking and when heel is supported you will get faster relief.
Next Steps
once pain is gone start with plantar fascia muscle stretching exercises and calf muscles stretching exercises. and ankle toe movement and strengthening exercises for ankle and foot muscles.
Health Tips
wear soft sole footwear or apply silicon insole in your shoes
