Heavy periods - Pause 500
Hi, I have pcod and I have been having periods since almost 20 days. I had heavy bleeding last 3 days and was adviced to take pause 500mg(for 5 days). Now my periods has stopped. Will it start again after I stop taking these tablets OR will I get my periods in my next cycle? Thank you.

Pause is a stop gap arrangement. It is not a permanent cure. Please consult a Gynaecologist on Practo with the investigation reports that you have.

Hie. Pause is to stop your current cycle. One stopped it won't bleed again till your next cycle. But you need to consult a gynecologist as heavy bleeding and continuous bleeding for 20days is not normal. It results in anaemia and pcod also need to treated.
Next Steps
Consult Gynaecologist online or in clinic on Practo.
Health Tips
Please dont neglect heavy and prolonged bleeding as it results in severe anaemia.
