Can we take MRI during periods
Hi, I have constant jaw and neck pain for an year. Have seen an oral surgeon recently and he wanted me to take MRI of Tmj. Is it ok to take MRI during menstrual periods? Or do we need to take once the periods is over. Thanks.

Yes. MRI of jaw region will be done only. Be cautious NOT to wear any single piece of metal during MRI.
