Heavy period
Hello doctor my daughter started having period from 3 months but her period days are sometimes 7 days or sometime 9 days and she get period two time in a month is this normal

Please get a sonography done. If there is no structural abnormality then you should not worry much. The hormone levels take some time to adjust. In the meantime you should give her  Iron and Calcium supplements.

Bleeding more than 7 days is not normal the gap between two day one of your period should be minimum 21 days

Hi actually this age the ovaries are not matured enough to handle such hormones change so in the beginning it’s like this but still u should take proper treatment and get one ultrasound done
